We’d like to re-introduce ourselves.
HI! We’re Brewbike.
How It Started In 2015, a group of Northwestern freshmen felt it was too hard to get great coffee on campus. They wanted to offer delicious coffee that didn't involve long lines. So they started Northwestern's first fully student-run coffee with a twist. Their first idea was to build a mobile coffee bike, park it in the best location on campus, and serve delicious cold brew coffee. Then, a few weeks into the school year, it started to snow. They put the bike away and nearly went bankrupt. But instead of closing their doors, they launched a coffee kiosk in Annenberg Hall, and added to their growing team of student baristas, operations team members, and brewers. Brewbike survived the winter and grew from there. How It’s Going It’s an important moment in our history, one that inspires us to be better and do better. That’s why we’re putting our trust in the next generation of leaders. Not only do we equip them with the skills they need to run a business, we give them a seat at the table. Because the measure of a company’s success shouldn’t be its valuation, but its democratization—where we lift each other up, bolster our business, and create the building blocks for a better tomorrow. At Brewbike, we’re changing the future of business for the future of us all. We exist to empower young people through entrepreneurial experience. We believe driven, engaged college students can manage real-world responsibilities and deliver real results. We can’t wait to get back together for a coffee when it’s safe.
