WHY A REBRAND?
Prior to March of 2020, Brewbike pioneered the college campus coffee scene. Located on 4 campuses—Northwestern, Texas State, UT Austin & Miami—students across the country now had access to affordable, delicious cold brew right on their way to class. However, last spring COVID-19 forced us to shut down our on-campus operations as universities transitioned to an online format for the remainder of the semester. Following the shutdown, we quickly got to work figuring out how we could continue to provide our loyal customers with their favorite cold brew, and in April we launched our online store as a way to reconnect with them. It turned out that folks all across the country loved our coffee, and we were now shipping our cold brew kits, merch, and coffee beans coast to coast. As our customer base continued to grow, we began wanting to create a new brand that would speak volumes for our students’ creativity on campus, and let our online customers know what we’re really about: empowering the next generation of go-getters, leaders and entrepreneurs. And as you can see, we did just that.
WHAT DOES THE BREWBIKE BRAND REPRESENT?
The Brewbike brand represents everything we are, have been, and seek to become. We are a passionate, playful, real, and rebellious coffee company—reinventing coffee for college students and changing the future of business for all. But most importantly, we’re living in an important moment in our history—one that inspires us to be better and do better, and that’s why we’re putting our trust in the next generation of leaders. Here at Brewbike, not only do we equip them with the skills they need to run a business, we give them a set at every table. Because the measure of a company’s success shouldn’t be it’s valuation, but it’s democratization—an ability to lift eachother up, bolster our business, and create the building blocks for a better tomorrow. Here our students are more than just employees—they are in many ways the backbone of Brewbike and all it stands for.
On the topic of what’s next for Brewbike, the possibilities are truly endless. We’re constantly thinking of new ideas and riding them as far as they’ll take us. But, you can expect us to be adding a ton more campuses and students to the company—when it’s safe of course—because after all, what college campus wouldn’t want the best cold brew out there for their students? You can also be on the lookout for a bunch of new cold brew flavors to enjoy in the coming months (hint: possibly a new holiday flavor soon).
