Brewbike Overview
Brewbike is changing the future of business for the future of all of us. We launch lean student- run coffee retail businesses on college campuses across the country. In the process, we’re equipping and enabling the next generation of American entrepreneurs. Brewbike was founded in 2016 by undergrads at Northwestern University. Since then, we’ve expanded to campuses nationwide, and trained hundreds of young entrepreneurs.

Job Overview
Have you dreamed of working in a coffee shop? The heavenly aroma of fresh coffee...slingin’ coffee and caffeinating souls...coffee shop tunes subtly playing in the background…basically the dream work flow.  Well, look no further.  Brewbike is a 100% student run, retail coffee business that is launching this Fall on ASU’s Campus.  We are looking to hire professional, dedicated and team-oriented baristas that are also down to have FUN while serving some really good coffee. The Nitty Gritty
Job Title: Barista

Comp: $13/hr

Time Commitment: 10 Hours/Week

Location: Arizona State University

You Should Apply For This Role if You:

Are personable and bubbly

Enjoy connecting with customers

Have the ability to stand, bend and sling coffee for a few consecutive hours

Are able to lift up to 30lbs

Are a good listener and take feedback well

Love being a part of a team

Are a morning person (If not, don’t sweat it- we always have afternoon shifts)

Are confident working in a high-energy and fast-paced environment

Are detail-oriented and can follow instructions well

Are good at keeping things clean and organized

*Bonus* have any previous experience in a food/beverage retail shop

*HUGE Bonus* have any previous barista experience

Responsibilites and Duties

Provide high quality beverage and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards

Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers by projecting a positive attitude and connecting with the customer. Discover and respond to customer needs

Follow health, safety, and operational policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all customers and co-workers during each shift

Take action and uses best judgement to solve problems as they arise

Anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues

Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard

Communicate information, suggestions, and major problems to leadership team for continuous improvement and problem resolution

Maintain a clean and organized workspace so that co-workers can locate resources and product as needed

Maintain regular and punctual attendance

Brew and prepare cold brew and tea
